Soon, it will be time
to put tomato plants
outside.

 

Tracey says,
Bumble bees hang upside down
from the stamen of the flower.

 

The vibration of their wings,
– ellipses of gold and silver
hum through the stamen,
an exact frequency
to break up the particles
of pollen
that drop down
– a dusting
onto furry bellies
which they brush
onto each furry leg.

 

The males have a moustache
and no sting,
you can pick them up.
– How close can you tell?

 

And some drones
will remember you
follow you, only you,
all throughout
the glasshouse.
