comes from the South (Scottish ancestors) but lives in the North;
has studied many things but lives for poetry and writing;
has both taught and studied at Whitireia, in fact she was there when it was Parumoana Polytechnic, as a Nursing tutor;
has been published before by 4th Floor online journal.
