Joanna Cho is the author of People Person (Te Herenga Waka University Press, 2022), which was shortlisted for the 2023 Ockham New Zealand Book Awards. She is a graduate of the Whitireia Graduate Diploma in Publishing (Applied), and has a Master of Arts in Creative Writing from the International Institute of Modern Letters. She lives in Ōtaki and works as an adult literacy tutor and at a bookshop. She is working on a book of short stories.
