A 2015 graduate of the Whitireia Graduate Diploma in Publishing (Applied), Emma Bryson is a digital nomad who has previously worked for Te Papa Press, Booksellers New Zealand and Entangled Publishing. Alongside her current roles as the executive secretary of Romance Writers of New Zealand and co-convenor of the RWNZ Auckland Chapter, Emma writes mixed-martial-arts-fighter romance as Emma Marie Cormier. She is a four-time 2024 gold medallist in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
