Mary Cresswell is from Los Angeles and lives in Waikanae Beach. After winding down a career as a science editor and tech writer, she went over to the dark side and now writes book reviews and poems. Her latest poetry collection – Field Notes, a satiric miscellany – was published last year by Mākaro Press Submarine Books.
