Napier-based Penny M Geddis is a Whitireia creative writing programme graduate and a previous New Zealand Society of Authors mentorship recipient. She is a book reviewer for both Flaxroots and the Bookseller’s Association of New Zealand. As well as a writer and critic, she is the owner and manager of Neath the Rose, an online second-hand bookstore. Her mission is to ‘save all those writerly words from being dumped in the waste by vastly inundated op shops’. Currently she is writing and editing a novel that has been on the go since 2011.
