Rob Hack was born in Invercargill, to a Cook Island mother and New Zealand father, the same year Eugene O’Neill died and Mary Stanley’s Starveling Year was published. After losing himself in outback Aussie at 50, he has found himself in Paekakariki where he’s lived for ten years. His first collection of poetry Everything Is Here was published in October this year. It contains poems about his Polynesian heritage and lots of other stuff.
