Justin Shaw-Williams lives in Owhiro Bay, Wellington. He mostly plays guitar and writes. He grew up in Whangarei, where it’s a bit warmer. It’s certainly been a learning process in terms of the weather, but Justin believes he is starting to adjust – besides, it’s an excuse to sit by the heater and scribble poems out. He likes poetry because it puts him in a place where everything can be poetic, even making a cup of tea. People lose and find themselves all the time, no matter what you do. We’re always losing something and hoping someone has found it, and it’s waiting in a box for us somewhere.
