Donna is a Wellington-based writer and tertiary educator. She has a Master of Arts in Creative Writing (Scriptwriting) from the International Institute of Modern Letters and a Master of Business Administration (Coaching, Mentoring & Leadership). She has taught Creative Writing, Performing Arts, Screen Production, Creative Enterprise and Business Writing programmes. She loves working with creative people and using the power of writing, combined with imagination, to help others further develop their skills as writers and artists.
She has presented at conferences within Aotearoa New Zealand and internationally. Her writing has been produced locally and overseas, for radio, page, stage and screen. She enjoys writing migrant stories, exploring themes of lost identity and developing work with a strong multicultural focus.
