Erin Donohue is a writer and editor from Te-Whanganui-a-Tara. Her novel Because Everything Is Right but Everything Is Wrong (2017) was a finalist in two categories in the New Zealand Book Awards for Children and Young Adults. You can find her work in Landfall, Turbine | Kapohau, The Spinoff and more. In the name of poetry, she recently finished the harrowing task of uncovering the feelings she repressed as a teen during inpatient psychiatric treatment. It was revealing and heartbreaking and hopeful but now she has a poetry manuscript.
