Trish Harris’s memoir, The Walking Stick Tree, was published in October by Escalator Press. Unfortunately, it does not mention blackberry picking, although it does explore loss and discovery in many other ways. Trish has a Bachelor of Applied Arts, majoring in Creative Writing, from Whitireia. She wishes all 4th Floor readers the best ever blackberry season this summer.
