Jane Blaikie lives in Wellington. Her poems here are about the Wellington designer, artist and gallerist Dave Kent, who co-founded the Wellington Media Collective. Kent was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease, and after becoming mute he began to communicate by way of notebooks.
