Alison Glenny taught in the Whitireia Creative Writing programme between 2010 and 2012. She has an MA in Creative Writing from Victoria, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Antarctic Studies from the University of Canterbury. Her collection of hybrid prose poetry, The Farewell Tourist, won the Kathleen Grattan Poetry Award in 2017, and was published by Otago University Press in 2018. She lives in Paekākāriki.
