Michael Connell is an emerging writer of short fiction. Although born in Marton, he grew up in Taranaki prior to living and working with his family in various rural areas of New Zealand, before settling in Wellington. Michael is a graduate of the Whitireia Creative Writing Programme and continues to live, weave and write in the capital with his dog, his music, his books – and his laptop of course.
